Here is a daft one. I may well have to make a quick trip back home to Dubai mid Rugby World Cup. The Emirates price for this trip is ￡5021 return 1st Class. The return quote for Bangkok over the same period (exactly the same aircraft for the LHR-DBX leg) is ￡4589! : So in effect they should pay me ￡432 to fly from DBX - BKK Other classes are similar but not so pronounced!
