condo/apartment rentals

I will start working in the city of Chonburi this August. I want to budget my monthly rent around $400 a month- hoping for a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen and balcony. Are there any apartment complexes in the area that would have a good gym with pool also? (Every apartment complex I see on the internet is priced for the spendy tourist) Are there apartment complexes for the budget minded "expat" that is living in the area for more than a year? I have been told to look into Payattya but I don't want to be running into a mass of tourists outside my door... so can I find inexpensive apartment complexes in the Chonburi area or do I go to Payattya to find a better selection? Thanks for your help.
