Hello A new member saying hello. A quick introduction and how I became "interested" in Thailand. I knew nothing of the place but got convinced to go on a last minute trip with some friends to Bangkok for a week last November. To say it was an eye-opening week would be an understatement... I seemed to return home with an unusual desire to return to Thailand as soon as possible - a feeling that was very bad for the first month of getting back, and only slowly faded over time. Anyhow, the good news is that I am flying back for 2 weeks from the 26th May -> 9th June. 3 days in BKK and then 10 in Pattaya. This time I will be on my own as I did not convince any friends to come with me (at least ones that would prefer to see the same delights of Thailand as myself). I seem to now spend a lot of time counting down the days and hours until I'm on my way back. I wonder if my desire to visit Thailand will be fulfilled once this holiday is over? Anyhow, hello to everyone.
