Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

  1. Good day everyone, I am presently looking into going to Thailand in the following months. At this point, i am unsure when exactly i would like to go. I have read a lot on several sites about the different seasons in Thailand and the cost to travel there during those seasons. It seems that the best time to go is between November and February. but i have noticed that almost if not all hotels charge double the price during that period. And although i haven't really seen any information on this, i'm sure everything else ( i.e. Markets, Bars, Tourist attractions etc... ) is most likely more expensive ? Because of that, i am maybe thinking on pushing my trip during the rainy season which seems to be between next June and October of 2007.Now my question is this; when they say " Rainy Season " does it mean that i would have to stay indoor or at the least carry an umbrella all day or are we talking of only one big shower that lasts only a short time each day ? I have read on different sites that the showers are daily but of short duration. Is that correct ? And if it is correct, what period WITHIN the rainy season does it rain less ? Thanks in advance for any information you guys can give me on this. Like i said, i already looked on the net for some answers but since i found this forum today, I thought it would be better to get an answer from people that have extensive experience with that country then websites that will promote anything to get tourists to go there no matter what.
