  1. After spending 12 nights here I still stand by what I posted above. About the only thing I can add is that the beds are a little harder than I would like to sleep on but, this is Thailand...the land of hard beds for good fucking!
  2. I seem to get booted off while I'm using the computers here at the Jasmine Hotel. I have no idea why because it's not my computer that I'm using.
  3. So far the cheapest meal I have had was a plate of Phad Thai from a street vendor (I think she was set up on Soi Pattayaland?). I paid a whole 25 Baht!! What's some of your suggestions out there for the cheap charlie's?
  4. I'm a VERY light sleeper...went to bed at 5 this morning and up at 9.
  5. Where's the better places to have breakfast which have large portions, good prices? What about different style breakfasts such as American, Euro, Thai, whatever...? I have not had much luck in the past here in the LOS as far as breakfast is concerned. The restaurant here at the Jasmine Hotel (soi BJ) has a good American breakfast though. I need other places to go to for something different and possibly cheaper (under 100 baht).
  6. I just had Bangers and Mash at the Pig & Whistle last night....goddamn, that was gooooood!!
  7. I'm staying there right now and all I have to say is that the hotel is WELL worth the price for the night (550 baht). I have a downstairs room so that means I hear the maids around 9am starting to clean up, but other than that, everything is fine. My particular room doesn't have a window looking outside, but I don't care about that (nothing much to look at in Soi BJ anyway). I don't hear any noise from the Soi though. All the people that work here are very nice and professional. The restaurant has a good American breakfast, but I have yet to have any of the Mexican food. The rest
  8. I'll be sure to be wearing my bug repellent lotion at all times then...
  9. That punk bar is called the Sex Pistols. It's east of 2nd Road in the area of Soi 8? That's the most I can remember right now other than me loading up a bunch of Death & Black Metal onto their computer!
  10. Yes, that is why I posted the location in the thread title. I figure that with the money I'm saving on hotel, I'll be able to play more out on the town.
  11. Has anyone stayed here recently? There's only two posts on the review page. I just got hooked up on a standard room there for 550B/night. About all I know is that the place did a major overhaul last year. Their site looks nice...hope it looks as good in real life! Jasmine Hotel
  12. Anyone happen to be arriving at the same time (11:40PM)? Want to share a ride? PM me!!
  13. I'll be in the LOS in less than a month!
  14. God, I hope things work out for me to get back there! I think it'll be nice to spend Thanksgiving on the beach eating a turkey sandwich. Is there turkey in the LOS?
  15. This thread hold excellent news for me since I'm looking to get back to Pattaya on Nov. 19th. The latest in the year that I've been to Pattaya is in September (2003).

  17. How's it going out there? I was formerly known as YankInKorea but have decided to change my name, since I am no longer in Korea...go figure..... I'm looking to get back to Pattaya around mid November for a couple weeks. I can't wait!!! BTW, I'm in Tonopah, Nevada now (halfway between Las Vegas and Reno). Yeah, out in the middle of nowhere!
