Right you are. This board seems to be infested with social misfits who promptly start insulting and squabbling with each other no matter what the topic of the thread might be. Rather than simply offering counterpoints or their own opinion or experience on the subject, they prefer to attack those who's experience or opinions differ from their own. 4niceight, the fear that the other BM's have with you sending money to LOS is that you may never be able to get it back out of Thailand. Do you understand that? So, stop with the odd sounding excuses and find somewhere else to stash it untill you actually need it, or assume the risk of sending it directly to a Thai bank for all eternity. Thailand has just experienced a military coup that is seemingly not too fond of farangs. Frankly, I think it is plain stupid to send your money there, given the volitile and unforseen nature of the place and its general distaste for foreigners.

I do understand you getting fed up with the Thai attitude towards farangs, though. I wonder why they hate us so much? Petty human jealousy, I reckon. Even so, the constant undercurrent of ant-farang attitude would likely get under my skin sooner or later, too.

Hope this isn't too off topic, and I don't mean to hijack the thread, but has anyone had any bonding or veneers done to there teeth there? I got this huge, sexy gap between my front two chompers and was planning to get that shit fixed while I'm there. It costs about $100 per tooth for bonding, here, and $300 for venneers. Anyone?
