I'll be with a friend on his first trip mid-October. he is limited on time. we have one free day and he wants to see the "country". he has no interest in beaches, so I was thinking some sort of tour to Chanthaburi maybe? 3 hours each way on a day trip might be a bit much? sort of stumped. without the time, hard to do anything really interesting like Khao Sok etc.

Any other ideas for Thai food tonight?
