I've browsed through the hotel review thread a couple of times now and I have come up with a few hotels I am considering. And I have heard little mentioned on them, so let me know if you know anything. My top choice is The Hotel Konig Mansion http://www.english.hotelkoenig.com/index.html And I have heard next to nothing about it. From what I know about it... it isn't all that far away from walking street. Seems fairly clean and western. Also seems fairly cheap. My other choice is The Globetrotter Hotel http://www.globetrotter-thai.50megs.com/index.html It is cheaper than the Konig, but it also looks a lot cheaper as well. The main thing, beyond the price, that attracts me to this one is the balcony veiw. Also I plan to stay a night or two at The Vault http://www.thevaultpattaya.com/index.html Looks nice for the VIP room and is expensive. But I figured this would be my high rolling night or two. I figure if you are gonna spring for two girls why not have a room with a pole. I know I always see people saying residence in or areca lodge. Residence in looks great but is a bit pricey for me. And I forgot what my reason was for not liking the areca lodge... think it might have been a bad review I read. Well, either way. Let me know what I am getting myself into.
