My advice, find a different place to visit unless you have a very specific reason to go. The government has focussed on unlawful activities there, the resorts are VERY nice unless you have a nose... Many of the resorts are close to where the sewer outfalls from the towns are located. There are opportunities to go diving off shore but the equipment is suspect. Of course, it is hot and humid, and worse during monsoon. There are few museums and those document the "American War". THe airport at Saigon is very old and just added runway/taxiway signage but traffic control is still by "Follow Me
