  1. Ah... I won;t be staying here, if I'm giving a 1 or two month committment I want a heavy discount... Jasmine sounds OK, I'll give it a look Obsession, cheers pal
  2. I would reccomend it for a first timer yuley because it's in an area that has some good action close by including beer bars, air con bars and a couple of gogo's and even a ladyboy bar or two. There are also a couple of markets fairly locally and some pretty good / cheap places to eat. It's also fairly easy to get the baht bus around the place, the room I had was clean and well furnished with a big comfy bed (I had a 1 bedroom suite and the chicks dug it) and as I mentioned before it was v guest friendly, had a small gym, a pool and free internet in the lobby and internet in the rooms. The only
  3. Thanks BigD, I quite like the look of this place. Thinking about one of the larger rooms for a month or two Dec / Jan - wonder do they do monthly rates? Anyone know? Cheers chaps
  4. I stayed at the metropole yuley and they had no issues at all - i had two girls back on a few occasions and no joiner fee.... just tipped the security guard 100 baht. he then pissed himself every time he saw me after that....
  5. Hi guys, I'm looking at a place to stay for a month, possibly two and a pal of mine reccomended Skytop as he said they do very resonable deals for people who stay a good amount of time... Trouble is, I can't find a website... does anyone know their web address? Or alternatively if anyone could post pics of the rooms I would be v grateful... Also - does anyone have a clue about what sort of rates you would get for a 1 or 2 month stay December - Feb? (All this is obviously dependanty on them having a room available!!!) Thanks in advance fellas Wax
  6. Hi guys Is the LK Mansion part of this group? The rooms look nice, would be great to get a discounted rate.... Cheers Wax
  7. For all your info I've e-mailed them and answered my own question, there is no joiner fee. Also, if you want to book this place the cheapest I found was through www.agoda.com - about half price of the website. I got a 92 sq metre one bed suite for 2500bt/night. It looks really nice, will post full report on arrival.
  8. Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated. LK Metropole looks like a hot favourite so far, unless a late entry comes bursting through any time soon....!
  9. I've heard a mixed bag - some say the experience of a lifetime others say don't even think about it - just wondering if anyone has specific stories/details relating to the bad points....
  10. I was thinking of staying at the Penthouse Hotel in Pattaya.... Has anybody stayed there? Was the experience good or bad? Would you stay again?
  11. I'm due in Pattaya for 10 days in September - my first time. Not my first time in LOS though. I want a 4 or 5 star hotel but not family orientated - so no joiner fees! I'm also conscious of the effect of bringing BG back in the presence of families - just not cool in my opinion. I don't mind paying for the luxury, TB 3500 would be my ceiling price per night but obviously I don't necessarily want to spensd as much as that if I don't have to. Also, can anyone advise me on the better option - Soi 6 area or Walking Street area? I hear good things about both but any input would
