Hi I was in Korat in September I decided that I would fly the flight was cheap I think around 1300 baht one way the flight was only about 35 mins long to Nakhon Ratchasima airport though the only problem I could see is getting from the airport to the town, I was lucky as I was picked up by my TG in her car the airport is very quiet and very small I did not see any taxi's but thinking about it I was not looking for any I can't remember name of the travel agent I booked through in Pattaya but it is on beach road very close the entrance of Soi 2 it's a small place but the girl was very helpf

The Asia is bit old and tired now, even though they have attempted to improve things there, from what I understand they have brought an old manager back who used to manage it a couple of years back when it was supposed to be a top quality hotel. But now it's lost it's sparkle It's now well over priced for where it's situated, taxi’s and baht buses can also add to your cost, the only good thing going for it is the quiet semi private beach, rooms are OK even though I had to be moved several times during my two week stay They also charge 500 baht to bring back a TG and won’t give a discount i

hi I have been to the Rex Hotel BKK and it was a bit old but ok, nice an quiet and room was clean, no problem with my TG either, in fact I am back there again in July it's a bit far out from the main action but it was nice just to relax after getting of the plane for a day or two before moving down to Pattaya and the real action ;D
