  1. Hi, looking at return flights for next year march/april/may time from manchester and china airlines seems to be leading the way with the cheapest flights at around the £440 mark. Has anyone every travelled with China? do the have an entertainment system on their planes? cheers
  2. I would advise taking a look at www.travelsupermaket.com as they will scan all of the trusted comparison websites that torrenova has just mentioned (plus more) for the cheapest fare. I am planning on booking mid march with Emirates so I too am interested in if the financial difficulty in Dubai means Emirates should be avoided.
  3. .....
  4. Cheers everyone for all the advice! I have taken on board all of your comments and have decided Sabai Lodge is probably our best choice. teelack - I understand i don't have to pay 2000BHT for a perfectly good hotel but i didn't any hotels been ruled out due to the cost. erik_e - Cheers for the advice but Tim Boutique hotel seems to be fully booked on our dates. nus01 & js007 - Cheers for the advice on Sabai lodge I understand Soi2 isn't as lively as Soi 7 or 8. however just like nus01 said it is a very short bus ride away from all of the (filthy) key attractions. Cheers again guys and any more advice please feel free to post before i take the plunge and book it! Daz
  5. Cheers Dontcha for your advice, I hear the streets Soi 7 & 8 are good locations to be staying? We will be spending most of our time probably getting wasted and a hotel around the bars would be beneficial, however would you guys consider this essential with the transport so readily availabe and cheap? Would for example it make a big difference staying around Soi 8 at flipper Lodge oppose to staying at Sabai lodge (Soi 2) North Pattaya, from a location point of view? All advice welcome Cheers Darren
  6. Hey, I am visiting Pattaya for the first time in November and am hopeful for some guidance regarding accommodation. I have narrowed down my hunt for a hotel by making a shortlist which consists of: Sandy Springs The Pattaya Beach Resort Sabai Lodge Hotel Vista Flipper Lodge My budget is £35.00 which works out at approximately 2000Bht (a night). I would appreciate it if anyone can pass down their knowledge and help a guy out. I personally like the look of Flipper Lodge and The Pattaya Beach Resort albeit my friend prefers the look of Sabai Lodge. We would prefer no joiner’s fee but this is not essential. If anyone else is visiting around November the 6th time feel to PM me. In anticipation of response Cheers, Daz
