  1. I will be moving and working in Pattaya in a few weeks and I do video conferencing with USA. Internet upload speed in most important to me. Can anyone please suggest where I should look for a house or apartment in Pattaya. It would be nice to be located near a songtaew bus route. Good upload for video conferencing is money for me. Internet speed is more important than the cost of the room. Thanks for any thoughts or help you can give.
  2. I must disagree with Fonz. Maybe he is thinking of Sabai Lodge. I have stayed at Sabai Inn many times. Excellent wifi signal. They have a router on each floor. No problems with my laptop getting a signal. One time the router lost connection with the internet, but when I talked to the front desk, they rebooted the router and all was fine. I think the Sabai Inn is good value, clean room, big bed, bath bus outside lobby, less than 1000 baht.
  3. I had very bad experience with Iphone at Tucom. They said one hour and 1000 baht. Later they said come back tomorrow. Tomorrow turned into next week. When I finally did get the phone I took it to MBK in Bangkok. There I found that several of the components were replaced and not original. For example the touch screen glass was replaced with ordinary glass. I highly recommend that you take your phone to an authorized dealer for repairs. Good luck!
  4. I had 3 implants "installed" in Bumrungrad Hospital 2 years ago. Not too much cheaper than in USA but I saved enought money for the air ticket and a nice holiday. I am VERY happy with the implants. They fell much stronger than a normal tooth. I wish I did this years ago instead of having bridge work. I hope you have same good luck as I have had.
