Yeah thats what happened to me a lot before when I tried the trick of ordering my drink right away. MM's phrase works, had one of the girls I got help me with pronunciation. With my most recent girl I just let her order everything for us. She usually does a good job and there hasn't been much food that I have not liked.

Here are a couple more things I do not like: Trash on the beach/streets, drivers being completely inconsideriate of pedestrians or any vehicle smaller than them, suit makers wanting to shake my hand, and sewage draining into what could be a beautiful beach. Hope that list doesn't make you lose to much sleep.

Someone should really tell Thai servers that westerners do not like it when the server immediately hovers over them as soon as they sit down. I cannot remember a restaurant where they don't stand right by you looking at you until you are ready to order. I find it very uncomfortable and I would assume most other westerners would as well. Can anyone phonetically spell out the sentence Please come back to take my order in 10 minutes in thai?

Nice place. Had the Mutton vindaloo and a vegetable paneer dish along with some Naan and a bottle of water. Food was good, service was excellent, restraunt was clean and comfortable with the fans turned on. Set me back about 280 baht. Pretty good deal considering price of a lot of indian food in Pattaya.

Hey M62 glad to see an update from you. Even though I recommended the annuity I will be honest and say that your insurance agent has a big incentive to tell you that it is great.
