I like this place very much. Mum Aroi (testy corner) located on the end of Naklua, next to Ananya Condominium, on soi 4 naklua rd., Big beachfront restaurant with huge variety of dishes (thai and seafood), very popular for thais.

Next to the Nova Platinum there is Siam Bayshore - big resort connected to the Walking Street. I usually go that way, the thai guard never stoped me - just smile and be polite. But the road may be closed from WS side during public holidays, but then too many people will use it.

Opposite Big C on 2nd pattaya rd., there are nice restaurant. It`s called the "White sun" - but there only sign in russian. The easiest way to recognize it by old TV-sets decorated the entrance door. Actually restuarant present georgian and uzbek cusines. Place was opened about 4 month ago, the food is very tasty (not like cabbages kingdom:) and and the interior just amazing..

Hyde Park Residence I is really good condo, but the location is not central: it can be called South Pattaya or Phratamnak Hill.

View Talay 6 will totaly suit your requirements, as was told before choose only Sounth side of the building. Normal price for monthly rent for studio is about 20-25,000 baht (depends on floor and duration of rent). You are planning to rent on a high season (nobody sure that next season will be as "high" as usual) however I reccomend you to book the room at advance. Google for agents contacts who have VT6 in listing, and good luck!

I work in one of the ground floor shops in Nova Platinum, and never saw that pool was unclean or fancy water slide was out of order.
