I am looking for a hotel in the Soi 7/8 area as I want to enjoy the beer bars rather than my usual Walking Street haunts. Requirements are free wifi and safety box in room, balcony, girl friendly, large clean room with big bed! I am willing to spend up to 2500 Baht per night. Anyone got a recommendation please?

I have stayed at the LK Renaissence before. Lovely room and great hotel. No problem taking girls back. The Empress looks nice but is a bit pricey - is it worth it do you think? 3,000 Baht per night room only!
