^I went to both Pump Station and Golden Girls several times. Same owner from what I understand. Had a regular looking bar downstairs, I would walk by, if I saw a girl I liked, stopped in, ordered a drink, one of us would say "up stairs?" and away we go. Upstairs was a second bar set up, no bar tender and also a chair/sofa. Most every time, no one else was up there. Maybe a couple of times a guy and Thai girl where just leaving as I was coming in. Girl would put on a porn moving, take a few mins getting ready, then come an suck you off from under the bar or at the chair/sofa. It was not

Spot on, I don't even mind paying a little extra as a “foreigner tax” if the boatman had said a price around 120 to 150 I would have paid it with a smile and not thought twice about it. However, to quote a price 2 and a half times higher than the motorbike they loaded before mine just not fair. My motto is to give people respect and you will get it in return. I treat people fair and expect it in return also. I don't want to create a stink with anyone, I just want to confirm what the fair price is.

Do you feel better now? Please don't make foolish assumptions, I am not on vacation here for a week or two. I live and travel in S.E. Asia full time for the last 5 years. There has been a change in the fare system for the ferry to Koh Larn. I ask a straight forward question about the change. I am looking for a sensible reply like bangkapiboy's...you know … a reply from someone who may actually know something about the topic.

Is 250 really the fixed rate to bring a bike to Koh Larn? I have taken my bike to Koh Larn on the ferry twice in the past, each time I paid 100 baht one way. I went today and after loading the bike onto the boat the Thai deck hand told me it would be 250 baht. I know the passenger price went up from 20 to 30 baht per person, but a hike from 100 to 250 for the motorbike seems out of line. That means it would cost me 500 round trip to bring the bike, it does not make a lot of sense when I can rent one on the island for 200 – 250 per day. In the end I refused to pay 250 and they unloaded
