I stay at the Canterbury Tales Cafe most trips and Dave has some reasonable deals on most of the time, I have a room with big bedroom and separate lounge lounge, all the normal stuff like a safe, free wifi, sofa, tv & dvd player, a/c and fan etc all for 400 baht a night on a monthly rate.

BKK has three main problems for the tourists, no beach and high pollution and traffic that makes you cry.

If you have not experienced Sonkran then you have missed out, its carnival time in Thailand and the greatest fun.

I have used him in the past but even he gets busy and farms out pick ups etc, its not too bad when his drivers pick up someone from the Guest House but when they send a car to meet someone at the airport sometimes things go wrong, not always the drivers fault but tricky, thats why I recommend Bell bus service, not only cheap but pretty much a guaranteed seat once you book with them online, of course you have a time limit as they only run curtain hours but very reliable.
If I book a Taxi from a firm for a guest and the Taxi is not there they will not admit they were not there and also I feel responsible, has Mr T a reliable Internet booking service where he is responsible for cock ups and not the Hotelier ?
Mr T has never let me down Dave as you know, when you have booked him to pick me up from the airport.

Its been well talked about that Pattaya/Thailand has realized it is missing out on a huge Tourist market in couples and families, thats why the Beach road are is slowly getting cleaned up and such as Central mall to lure such people.
The soi Baukao area is growing all the time and this area will be the future of Pattaya Monger's heaven.

Well this is me far laft,
many people know I am a pal of Dave and he runs a good business, as for bikes I always warn people if they are not experienced dont drive one here in Thailand, if you really have to use a reputable company with all their business in order such as Mai Pang who have been going for many years.I can be found very often in Canterbury Tales Cafe or on the lash with Dave and a few others, pop in and say Hello and I will introduce myself but please dont call me a liar, sound like paranoia is contagious.

I have had too many buffet breakfasts where the food sits there while the insects fly round it and it gets re heated again and again, when you order a breakfast in other places at least its cooked to order.
