it seems they were very right hand orientated to things. if you ever go to a castle in Scotland or Wales or England, when going up stairs the hand rail is always on the right, the reason is that if attackers are coming up stairs to attack you, you can come down stairs, holding onto the railing with your left hand while slashing them with your sword ikn your right hand and they have theirs in thre weak left hand, but there was someone famous in Scotland history who was left handed, may have been braveheart himself who was left handed and beat someone-ah, too old, to much home brew.

right or wrong, this is what i was told by a brit many years ago. the left is the correct side because are right handed. when people rode past each other on horseback to fight if they werent on the left of the road or track or trail then they couldnt use there sword or lance. That is why the brits drive on the left. Hi great info here but apart from the last two entries 3 or 4 years old, any update on which place is better???? i have a week in December
