  1. it seems they were very right hand orientated to things. if you ever go to a castle in Scotland or Wales or England, when going up stairs the hand rail is always on the right, the reason is that if attackers are coming up stairs to attack you, you can come down stairs, holding onto the railing with your left hand while slashing them with your sword ikn your right hand and they have theirs in thre weak left hand, but there was someone famous in Scotland history who was left handed, may have been braveheart himself who was left handed and beat someone-ah, too old, to much home brew.
  2. right or wrong, this is what i was told by a brit many years ago. the left is the correct side because are right handed. when people rode past each other on horseback to fight if they werent on the left of the road or track or trail then they couldnt use there sword or lance. That is why the brits drive on the left. It seems to that in olden days the brits spelt harbor and labor our way but after there fights with france they changed it to our-I think that is right, and similarly after 1776 when we ditched the brits it was decided to side with the french and ride on the right and spell the oth
  3. i prefer to use google chrome but anytime i get to a page with pictures it becomes unresponsive and asks if i want to kill pages. is it just me???
