I have noted with interest the comments posted regarding the Hillside Resort, Pattaya and although they were posted some time ago, I must admit they are missleading. I decide to stay at the Hillside Resort last month and must admit that as a well travelled individual, I thoroughly enjoyed my six nights in their second floor suite (202/204). It was clean, comfortable and suitably furnished to match its claimed 3 star status. The pool was delightful and despite the lack of choice, the breakfast at the Garden Hut was a bargain at only B120.00. The saving on accommodation cost left ample funds to hire a motor cycle to offset the distance from central Pattaya and even made it possible to reserve a private transfer from Walking Street to the Hotel on the one evening I thought a late-night motor cycle trip up the mountain after a few beers may be too risky. I will be returning to Pattaya again before the end of the year and will most definately make the Hillside Resort my base again. I hope this report on this lovely little establishment will encourage others to venture a little further away from the city centre when they next visit Pattaya ..... there is more to life than falling out of bed into a GoGo bar!
