I saw pantyhoses in several supermarkets and shops but no stockings. I love to see Thai girls wearing stockings or knee stockings. Or white nylon over-the-knee stockings (I am not sure if this is good English but you know what I mean). Where can I find these?

I think the question is what is important to you. To me the ambience or athmosphere is important, that's why I like the Welkom Inn. And it is guest friendly, bed is big enough for three if you are into threesomes. The garden is the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Location, don't go there if you prefer south, I prefer the quieter places though. It is rather quiet but close to the beach, beer bar complex on soi 2/3, 7-11, Big C. Last year I met a lady without a mobile phone, she asked me to buy one but I bought a telephone card instead so she could call from a public telephone. She wasn't really satisfied but accepted that I am the one who decides how to spend my money. I met another lady who didn't ask me to buy a telephone. One day we went shopping because I wanted to buy her some clothes, first she even didn't understand that we went into the shop for her.

Just received a call from my travel agent, the hotel at the end of the tour will be the Jomtien Palm Beach. Any comments about their guest policy? I will make this tour as a single member of the tour group, so the hotels will consider me a single traveller.

I searched the web but haven't found an email address. I think I will just go there without reservation. I will arrive the 30th of august and stay five nights.

Sounds good! I also read some positive messages about this hotel in the hotel review section. How about vacancies at the end of August-beginning of September? Would it be wiser to make reservations in advance?

I flew Finnair AMS-HEL-BKK v.v. in 2000 and Thai FRA-BKK-CNX v.v. in 2001, both in business class. Finnair has good service and uses MD11, Helsinki is a nice airport. About Thai, it depends on crew (very friendly or not friendly at all) and aircraft type (B747 300, 400-1 or 400-2).

I will be making a guided tour and the last two days are in Jomtien, in Welcome Jomtien Beach Hotel or Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel or Pinnacle Resort&Club, maybe in Pattaya in Amari Orchid. Are these hotels guest friendly? Or would it be better not to take a guest with me anyway because I am part of a group and many "tolerant and non-racist" Europeans are against interracial contact? After the tour I will be staying in Jomtien or Pattaya so I will have enough time to spend with a nice lady.
