Mahalo "D"ster... The Res Garden has inroom safes... Hard Rock Hotel, Marriott, Nova Lodge (bettter rooms) Ditto that.. I like having alot of talent in the room so my only private area is the safe....Very careful about that and have never lost anything I didn't plan on!

NillaMan...make sure you get the right tix and check fo fare sale...There is a diff in costs for stop over, thru to Phuket and return....They are the only game in town!

How long will it take to get to BKK in the early hours... I've a 7 am flight and need to be at Dom M. by 5 or 5:30 Will be using a Thai Limo so no problems there!. What time should I leave Pattaya....I know go to BKK for a night but....I have a reason to stay that night!

On United in Narita you will get off the plane...there is a plane change.. No big deal....walk thre more metal/bag check and on to the new gate. IN and out of SFO is UA 838 and 837 SFO-NRT-BKK from Narita it is UA's only flight in that day! In Sept the equipment will change to a 747, good news for those who want to upgrade! Before upgrades in and out of BKK ended up for Preimer Exec's and 1k only. The flight arrives about 22:30 to 23:30 and the same plane departs at 0700 the next morning.

Seems that United is in the price war. There is a $589 coach fare, NO Upgrades from that fare. I got a $724 upgradeable starting in September. Remember when it was a 747 HNL NRT and 777 NRT to BKK...shifted to 777 both legs and starting in Sept its 777 of of HNL and 747 out of NRT.. Why I like that is the NRT BKK was always more tight for upgrades, now no problem. Got all upgrades confirmend for and October trip. Wide open! A very important aspect of the NRT BKK upgrade with United is they deplane by class. First out the front, Business out the second door while coach waits to use

Buy a carton of Ciggis at 15 USD for a BG and you are the King! I fly often, hold United 1K and always get into business class. Shite, I like the little brake...short one from UA. if you are doing the LA/SFO BKK run Still arrive BKK with the rest at 2230 or so. BTW the guy in row 52 had better plan for cold food...That is the bleachers.
