I stayed at The Dusit Hotel in 2001. It is a 4-5 star hotel in Pattaya. They had a fantastic deal organised through the reception desk, for Laem Chabang, one of the best golf courses. 1940 baht for two people including caddy and green fees plus 100 baht each/way transport. The Dusit had some fantastic room deals especially pre November, based on free days which worked out cheaper than some 3 star joints! I don't know if these deals still exist! I would like to make contact with golf fanatics in Herts/Essex or anywhere in the UK, to arrange golf/fun trips to Pattaya. What about forming a golf society for these trips. I fancy going there Oct/Nov this year, but no fixed plan as yet! Does anybody want to join me! I am thinking about staying at The Residence Suites and flying Eva Air De-luxe, which is a small price extra to pay not to have someone from the seat in fronts, head stuck in your lap for 10 hours, mind you I suppose it's a matter of whose head! Last time I was in Pattaya I stayed at The Dusit, they had a fantastic deal with Laem Chabang Golf Club, I have the receipt in front of me now! 1940 baht with caddies for two people including pick up/return for 100 baht eachway! I wonder if this deal still exists? I first went to Pattaya 25 years ago and have seen many changes, I'm 57 now, yet it still keeps drawing me back!
