I use King Tailor in Walking St. 700baht for a tailored shirt, made from Chinese Silk so it doesn't need to be ironed. 3500 baht for a suit. Quality is good and they always do two fittings plus last minute alterations if needed.

Hi I went through there in October last year. No bars that I know of, I doubt there are any, I saw one other farang while I was there. There is farang food, a hangover from the War. Lonely Planet describes it as a good place to go when you're on your way to somewhere else. Cheers G
