8) Koh Samet is great if u want a relaxed time. No Beer Bars in the area I was in, but great restaurents and plenty beer. I stayed in Ao Wang Duan. They are 23 resorts in the Island, varying from only a few huts to many, they are no hotels as such, simple huts with fan (sometimes), with aircon expensive (2000 b/day). One of the most relaxing places I have ever been.
