  1. I am lucky enough to be spending Christmas/New Year in Pattaya for the first time in a decade (I normally travel to the kingdom in off-peak times). The only thing I will regret is not being able to sit down on Boxing Day to a traditional day in front of the box watching Australia take on South Africa in the cricket test match. Can anyone enlighten me on whether and/or where this match might be broadcast on satellite tv in Pattaya. I see UBC is covering the England vs Pakistan matches and then India v New Zealand but no mention of Australia.
  2. Try http://www.phnompenh-hotels.org for a pretty good list of options.Action is pretty spread out in Phnom Penh, I have stayed at the Big Luck Hotel for USD25/night, costs a bit more as it has a pool but good value.
  3. Are we talking about the same place - out near Jomtien down a small soi nearly opposite the Roof Garden Inn http://www.pattayagardenapartments.com/ It is not the Thai Garden Resort or Pattaya Garden Hotel which are both in Naklua.
  4. Anyone stayed here before? Only 1 review from 2003, quite positive. Are the rooms as good as they look on their website? I hate getting to hotels and finding out their photos have made the place look a lot better than real life! I don't have problems with location as will have transport.
  5. If you have an APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) all you have to do is walk up to an immigration official and they will escort you through immediately (this happened to me a few weeks ago).
