aniteowl, I know you said centrally located, but have you ever looked at the "Regency Park"? It is located out by washington square about 2-3 bts stops from nana. i stayed there last August 2004, and it is just what you are asking for except for location. Ok so maybe I won't stay at the majestic , I just love action, hell who knows , maybe I'll start a poll and let the boardies outcome decide it for me, I do have a ways to go, so we'll see!

Thanks everyone for the recommendations, I have looked at the reviews and websites for each hotel given, looks like I'll go with the Majestic and take a walk down to the Nana and just see how it looks, no worries and thanks again. I am looking at staying in Bkk a night or two and always stay around washington square, this time I am thinking a lot closer to NEP. I have read here about staying at the Nana but, I'm not sure which one that would be. Would I be looking at the hotel or the inn? Also is it the one close to nana plaza? Go to the Cobra show, it's good to go and take a video cam with you, they'll give you some great shots if you do, besides that, surf the net and check it out, way too many things to do in just 12 days, but hey............party if you do.. , if not plenty of sights to see.... , have fun and live life ! travlling............
