Getting into Bars and clubs
PeterP replied to raptormansam's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Pattaya Pete is right (as always) but I think you should think hard about what you are doing. Pattaya is an unreal place and can have a real effect upon people's lives. I know plenty of people who simply see life back in England (or wherever) as an annoying interruption to their life in Pattaya. Some of these guys don't even go out at home, they work all the hours God sent and save their money to come over here. Don't get me wrong, I'm a bar owner and they are great customers, but I worry that their lives have been effected to much. Obviously, as a parent, the decision is yours - but consider what it might do to your son. I remember a boy - about the same age, he had a Bar Girl as a girlfriend (about 6 years older than him) - didn't want to go home, gave up school and tried to train in My Thai. Wouldn't want that to happen to my son. By the way, he will also get mobbed by the girls and may hate the whole experience. My son came over when he was 18. He was initially really put off. We paid for him to get laid (Anna arranged it) but after that one night she kept coming round to his room early in the morning. Anna had to read the girl the riot act and told her to piss off. This girl was 28, had been working 10-12 years and was serious hard core. He said she was great in bed (he was a virgin) - but not someone we wanted him to get involved with! Please don't think I'm getting all holy on you - I am, after all a whoremonger - just my own experience. -
About time I made a response - Anna and I own Anna Jet! I have tried to be honest about the rooms on the web site - but they aren't shite (I stay there). Firstly lets respond to some of the comments: 1) The photos are of A10 - it is one of the rooms normally reserved for the girls - they sleep 3-4 to a room and they get a fridge, TV, en-suite etc - compared to their homes in Buri Nowhere it's luxury. These rooms don't have air-con or outside windows - they are cheaper but you have to be a real tight arse to pick one (unless you are lucky enough to be sharing it with the girls) 2) Security - All the air-con rooms now have in-room safes - we have also changed the locking system and put an automatic closer on the outside door. 3)Beds - we have bought new sprung mattresses for all the air-con rooms (actually we are still waiting for the last 2 to arrive). That being said - they are still rooms over a busy bar - and I can't change that! It's a trade off. -If you want to impress Bar Girls - don't stay at Anna Jet (they don't give a shit anyway - it just encourages them to up their expectations) -If you want a quiet evening in, sipping cocoa and going to sleep at 10 - don't stay at Anna Jet (why are you in Pattaya anyway?) We turn our outside speakers off at 1am and since the landlord has the first floor it's his family who enjoy the late, late music (why not - we pay a fortune in rent and key money). - If you want to do a quick short-time with the girl who shows you the room - stay at Anna Jet (you still have to pay bar however) - If you like to Party Hard, take a girl upstairs for an hour and then come back to pick another before crawling to bed - stay at Anna Jet. - If you never use the swimming pool, coffee-shop and shops selling Thai Silks and carved thingys and would prefer to keep your money for wine, women and song - stay at Anna Jet. And if you choose not to stay with us - then that's fine - but I hope you'll join us in the bar - ask for me (Peter/Boss) and we'll share a few drinks together!
