I'm arriving on 6/24/08 and need a room. I have stayed at the RG several times but don't want to when it's raining so much. I have searched the board and several travel sites but I'm not getting the info I need about internet connections (most descriptions don't say if the access in HOTEL vs in ROOM). This is what I'm looking for: Quality like RG or better Central location - will be walking to GoGo's in the rain (not 2nd road, not RG) In room Wi-Fi (good/reliable) Pool Budget is up to $100.00/night ($3,000B) Guest Friendly Any recommend

I'm with Owen, sell the property to some one else. Is there a market for your property? If you are willing to sell the property then sell it to any one BUT him. If he's so focused on the property (since he used to own it) then maybe he can start stalking the new owners. Sell it and find a new property and location you like even better.

Read every review - still one question

Thanks for the suggestions so far but my internet oriented job at home requires that I have a laptop with me when I travel (for emergencies). Most front desk deposit boxes have been too small for a laptop. (Sunshine, Flipper, etc.) I used to not worry about it and just left the laptop in a drawer but a $400 palm vanished from my room last trip (while my laptop and camera were also in plain sight). This was not BG related - Just happened while I was out of the room. Soooo Still looking for something like the RG or better but more centrally located, with in room safe. Around 2 -
Yep, read ALL the mid-range reviews... But the devils in the details that are missing. Looking for a hotel with a level of quality and facilities at least as good as the RG but more centrally located. Nice larger room - nice bathroom Nice Pool IN ROOM SAFE (big enough for a laptop) BG friendly - but take IDs Direct Dial phones (for laptop) Good Food In very good repair/condition Good Staff website for reservations (or a good site for making them) Budget is aprox. 2000 baht/nite - can go higher if I must. Sorry for the same question again...

Cathay Pacific deal of the month is BKK ...again?

Please help me with this... I always fly United and the return departure time stinks (7:00 am!!) I don;t see this deal on the CP site. Can anyone provide the link or url for the page that details this offer?? Thanks -
This might win the stupidest question award but after reading what seems like the entire board I have two basic questions about time and distance. I've seen and collected some great maps about pattaya but none of them have a legend that shows scale or distances. I see a dot for a nice hotel and then read that it sits on 8 acres!? I can't get a sense of how big this place is. The other question is about the time. I'm leaving from California. Can anyone tell me what time it is in Pattaya when it's 9:00am in California? PS. What do I Win?

I'm arriving at 11:30 pm on a Thursday. Assuming that it takes me 1hr to get through the airport and to a limo and another 2 hrs to get to pattaya is there a problem in checking into a popular hotel at that time of the early am? Additionally, I'm looking for a nice hotel (up to $50-$75 per night) thats centrally located to the fun, with a pool, decent food, dd phones or an internet connection. Ive read all (and I mean all) the hotel the hotel posts but most seem to focus on cheaper rates. I want guest friendly, no problems, friendly staff, english speaking (hopefully). I'm thinking the

Taking my first trip on Oct 27th. My work requires that I take a laptop with me. I'd like to keep it in an in-room safe to keep it handy. On my last trip to Amsterdam the in-room safe was 1/2 inch too narrow! I carry an HP (full size) about 13.5 X 12 X 2. Does the Residence Garden have safes big enough? Also how much of a hastle is it to connece with the typical laptop built in modem? Any info would be helpful! PS: Plan to be at my first FLB parth on the 29th!
