  1. New budget airline Tiger Airways recorded more than seven million hits on its website within a week for about 3,500 tickets from Singapore to Thailand offered at a S$1 (about 60 US cents) promotion rate. All the tickets - to Bangkok, the resort island of Phuket and the southern town of Hatyai - have been sold out. The Singapore Airlines-backed budget carrier pulled a marketing stunt by offering the fare of S$1 for a The new Singapore-based low-cost airline Tiger Airways issued a roaring challenge to its established rivals, taunting them with a S$1 ticket offer. one-way trip to the
  2. Ahh, the little honeys hanging out by the Main Gate at the 1st MarDiv compound in DaNang, trying to entice young Sgt. Hoss to run one into his bunker for a quickie. One in particular was a little stunner, we called her 10 P Annie 'cause she'd come by about noon along the china beach side and fondle our Ma Deuce (.50 Cal) like it was some big iron dick !! Then one of us would give her 10 Piasters to flash her tits for us....all of about 10 cents worth of money LOL. Since marines were only allowed a few hours into downtown DaNang, short time was all we could negotiate...about 3 bucks for

  4. It was also reported that the nose collapsed on top of one of those Tow Motors that pull the planes around the tarmac. It appeares the tow motor is completely buried in the belly and will cost a few million to repair all the damage to the underside of the aircraft. Chesire Tom..thanks for the tail number !! I wouldn't want to fly on a wrecked 747 until they prove it with 30 or 40 successful voyages. Can you imagine the feeling that poor mechanic had to go through when he felt the cockpit sliding out from under him? He was running the first of a series of tests of the hydraulics on
  5. I would try to get the "TAIL NUMBER" as that remains permanently for that particular ship set. It would be one I would not want to board immediately! I'll wait for the next one, thank you!!

  7. Dear Cookie: Can't send you money any more. Big problems back here at home in Arkansas. See, what happened is, well, I was drunk the day my momma got out of prison; and I went to pick her up in the rain! But before i could get to the station in my pick up truck.... she got runned over by a damned old train.. But I still love you too, sweetie and can't wait to get back on my feet and visit you again.. love David Allen Coe The Perfect Country and Western Answer to the call for funds from the Brown Breasted Bed Thrasher.
  8. Hello folks! I am contemplating a trip to Pattaya for as long a stay as I can garner...3-6 months hopefully. However, I recieve cardiac meds (Im a geezer at 60 with a tender but usable ticker)... The VA Hospital ships me via US Mail a 90 day supply each time. Can you suggest the best way to recieve packages while there? Should I have them mailed to a USA address and then shipped by DHL or FEDEX to the hotel/Condo? Or is US Mail safe to send? Also, do the hotels do long term rentals? 3 months or so? Or would a condo rental be more manageable? Thanks for your advise H
