I have used AVG free edition for years and never had one problem. I don't get harassed for an upgrade. I have it set to automatically download the latest virus signature file 15 minutes before the automatic virus scan. Can't be any simpler than that. I also have AVAST running at the same time with automatic download of signature file and running. There are no conflicts and you get twice the protection for Zero cost. Some slight resource drain but not enough to stop you looking at these forum's.

God how familure this all sounds. Been there done that and have to admit there is no better place or people to spend the rest of your life with. I have my lady, we are getting married next year. I am planing my retirement to the LOS. I will be living off my military pension and my public service pension. The only downside is that I have to wait ten years to get the publice service pension. But all good things cum to those who wait and plan and scheme,

Just wanted to refresh this one in the hopes that somebody may be at the airport on 18 Sept at about 2200 and want to share a taxi to PTTY.

I fly in at about 2130 on the 18th suppose that is too late at night for you guys? If anybody is going to be at the airport at about that time would they be interested in sharing costs? Glenn

I have only been to Pattaya once. Stayed the HardRock. Really nice room, great pool, room service was great, make sure you hit the pool bar for the happy hour between 1500 - 1700, 170bht for two scotch and coke. However, they hit me with a 900bht joiner. Just goes to show that I should have booked it as a twin room. Come Sept am staying at YenSabai. 580bht a night. Nice looking room and pool (according to the online pics) Looks like it is a little away from the main strip but walked way further from the HardRock so should not be a problem. Glenn

Have a question though. I was restricted to a less than 20kb file and I have checked out some of the file sizes on other peoples profiles and they are of 100kb. So what is the go there?

Ok that is nice to know. I don't fly that way, but it does not stress me out either. Will treat them with the respect that everybody deserves, give them a big smile a wave and continue on my way.
