know a good place for specs in BKK, it is very near the Asia hotel----called Mandarin Optical. Don't know the name of the street but their phone number is 2089940. Have gotten great service and quality specs the last two trips. They even mailed a pair to me in Mexico..They arrived in two weeks, exactly as promised
