Soi 13 and Sandy Spring vs The Inn
travelingfox replied to travelingfox's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Mike, What kind of discount does SS give for a month? Chees, -
The last two message on the above have gotten off track....so for those interested. There is construction durring the day but the only hotels that would be affect are Ma Masion for sure and possibley the Dynasty noted by another poster..cant confirm but from the outside seems reasonable. The Sandy Springs is a great hotel clean, huge rooms, and decent ocean views from the deluxe seaside view rooms. The Inn is clean with smaller rooms but also cheaper. You can get a two room suite for 50bhat/day more than the deluxe room at the SS. If you are renting by the day or week then the ro

Bigmike, No problem. I didnt know about the linen, water, or electric situation and depending what they charge could be a big difference, no way to know if they were ripping you off or not I just didnt like you flipping me the bird for saying that the Inn was the only alternative in the area to your favorite the SS....a bit over the top mate. PS I think I now understand why the SS is your favorite. They have CNN on their cable.....you must have your remote preset to that thinly veiled liberal platform that they call NEWS.....LOL! -

Have you been in one of the suites at the Inn on the 8th floor? Yes they are not as big as the SS suites, but they certainly are not small. In fact when you consider both rooms they are larger than the SS single rooms, and two rooms are a plus. Many of the board's members reccomend the the Lek and the Dynasty both of which are not even close to either the SS or the Inn. I am certainly not an expert -
Am staying at the Sandy Springs now, and while the noise on the street can be loud at times, I have never heard a thing inside my room.

Am staying at the Sandy Springs now and there are two condo projects going on nearby, so there is street noise durring the day but have never heard any inside the room. If you stay here you deffinately want a deluxe room that have a partial sea view, large, newer compared to all that I checked out near here and very clean. The only other option(in this area) to check out it the Inn House. You can get a suite for a little less than the deluxe at the SS, the only draw back for me was that the TV was in lounge room and they didnt have one in the bedroom, if that doesnt bother you its a b -

Are there any tobaco shop in Pattaya where you can get good Cigars? If so are the prices reasonable or ridiculous?
