Over the years, I've maintained the same stance regarding discounts. I don't receive any discounts that are not available to other board members.

Airbus and Boeing products running behind schedule
BigDUSA replied to BigDUSA's topic in Idle Chit Chat
The Airbus A380 is a loser. It's poorly designed in Europe. Poorly assembled in Europe and has once again poorly designed and built European Rolls Royce engines. Sales have fallen off a cliff and the A380 is nowhere near turning a profit. I wonder what group of engineers are the most incompetent? Could it be the French, German's or the British? -
I pay the same rate as other board members. I don't get a free room nor do I get any special discounts. Sky-Top has many repeat customers and many are forum members.

What a racist comment "niggah". What a low life going after Mok who's no longer in the business and is living with a farang. Sad little angry man. -
No he doesn't. Like I said I pay the same as every board member. During high season, I pay the full rate. Low season I pay the same discounted rate as other board members.

I paid $89.60 for my flight from Philadelphia, PA to Bangkok. This trip I'm using frequent flier miles.
-
I pay the same rate as every guy on this forum pays when they stay at Sky-Top.

Once again it shows you don't know what your talking about. What a bullshit statement that she intimidated other girls. She left when she was sponsored. MM didn't fire her. BTW piranas is spelled wrong. It's spelled piranhas.

I already told you what the A380 break even point is. They are nowhere close to reaching it anytime soon. So sad. EU Taxpayer -

Like I said the A380 is nowhere near break even and it doesn't look like it will get there in 20 years. Sad day for the EU taxpayer. -
You can ask MM about Mok making her barfine and drink quota month in and month out. She had a lot of repeat customers. She was doing something right. Yes when I was stationed in Saigon during the Vietnam war. I was invited to embassy parties and I had diner with Henry and Yuri. My time at Cambridge. Great memories and just lubed fucking all the English gals. Last but not least my two Pontiac Vibe's. Consumer Report's liked them and they recommended them. Once again good quality at a reasonable price.

That's the latest figures available. Both Airbus and Boeing has stopped publishing the break even numbers. That being said Airbus A380 isn't even close to break even. -
Guys should check this out. Good rate and looks like a good place to stay. I like being on 2nd Road and close to soi 6.

Airbus revises A380 break-even point Alert PrintRetweetFacebookNow 420 aircraft, up from 270 By Lester Haines • Get more from this author Posted in Science, 20th October 2006 11:15 GMT Free whitepaper – The Register Guide to Enterprise Virtualization Airbus parent company EADS has announced a new break-even point for its troubled A380 programme - 420 aircraft as opposed to the previous 270, the BBC reports. Current orders for the A380 stand at 159. The A380 roll-out has now been delayed three times due to "wiring problems" and the first example will not be delivered until October 2007. New Airbus big cheese Louis Gallois recently admitted "painful" job losses were likely as a result of the knock-backs, while Rolls-Royce earlier this month suspended A380 engine production while "waiting for more details about requirements from Airbus". Airbus has calculated that the whole sorry saga will cost it €2.8bn in profits over the next four years, added to the €2bn it announced back in June 2006. Airlines, meanwhile, have expressed growing frustration at the situation. Qantas, which won't take delivery of the first of 12 A380s it's ordered until August 2008, recently asked: "How are we going to mount the capacity in the short-term?" Emirates, the biggest customer to date with 43 on order, admitted it was "reviewing its options". On a brighter note, EADS chief financial officer Andreas Sperl told a gathering of analysts and investors that Airbus "still expected to sell more than 750 of its new planes over the life of the project". ® QUOTE -

Good luck! I'll stop by next March when I'm in town. -
I had to cancel my trip to Pattaya for health reasons.. The BG who work the bar at Sky-Top are good to go for 500 ST and 1K LT. Barfine is 300 Baht. Once again good value for the Baht.

So many comments from guys who never bothered to stop by and see for themselves.

So far the Airbus A380 is a sales loser and the Boeing 787 is a sales winner and is way over the break even point. The A380 is nowhere close to the break even point. -
Sky-Top has many repeat customers. I'm one of them and yes IMHO it offers good value for the Baht. Sky-Top is clean, friendly staff and has a great location. For the BM with extremely high standards at the 700 Baht per night cost. There are many other places you can stay. Up to you.

Australia had thousands of troops in Vietnam. Lots of infantry and Air Force. New Zealand had less then 700 soldiers. If I remember correctly a artillery battery. South Korea had 50,000 soldiers. PI had around 2 thousand and Thailand was at the 1,000 level. I want to thank all the men and women from the allied countries that supported us in Vietnam.

Not when you look at the sales. One is selling like hot cakes and the other is selling like a loaf of stale bread. -
A drunken Iranian man in need of a toilet definitely picked the wrong house to break into. Iman Mahmoodi Barikarasfi, 30, was arrested Nov. 24 in a bathroom at the Koh Larn weekend home of Deputy Prime Minister Maj. Gen. Sanan Kajornprasart, the Royal Thai Army’s chief of staff. In his haste to urinate, Iman had apparently broken into the Samae Beach house, forced his way into the bathroom and broke the door and a shower in the process. Sanan was not at the house at the time, but housekeeper Patchanan Thamniab quickly calculated the damage at 35,598 baht. Dressed in shorts and a gray singlet, Iman offered only 15,000 baht, saying the housekeeper’s estimate for replacement materials, service and transportation to the island was too high. Police tossed the Iranian into a jail cell to consider his options. Twenty minutes later, Barikarasfi called back officers and agreed to the housekeeper’s demands. The property damage charges were dropped and the Iranian was released. QUOTE
