At the $100USD level all the hotels are guest friendly. Book a double and have them include the joiner fee. Montien, Amari Orchard, Marriott and Hard Rock are all 1st class hotels located near the action. Amari is furthest away and only 5 minutes by baht bus that goes by it's door. I've stayed at the Marriott very short walk to walking street and all the action. They have a great pool, nice spa, excellent food. I would stay there again. ;D ;D ;D 12 days

I have to agree with laffnliv, I've stayed at both hotels and I like the Flipper Lodge because they have a great in room massage ;D ;D. I paid 300 for the massage and 500 to the girl for full service last August. Only 13 more days untill show time. ;D ;D ;D

BKK has some of the cheapest airfares on the planet. BUT, the trip has to begin in BKK. To get the big discount. Only 13 more days;D ;D ;D

A few days before I leave for Pattaya, I call my bank and credit card company. I tell them I'll be travelling to Thailand, give them the dates and they enter it on my record. When thier security program kicks out my account they check my record and they don't block my account I also photo copy front and back of all my cards and passport and the US phone # if I have to cancel. Why not try the Star Alliance group of airlines. Earn ff miles on all your flights dump into one account. Miles never expire as long as you fly at least once every three years. You can redeem ff miles on all airlines. Check out there website. I'm in the US and I use UAL, SAS, SQ, Thai and Lufthansa for all my travel and the miles really rack up. I get double miles on UAL so I use them the most. ;D ;D ;D

One of the guys I hooked up with at the FLB Bar stayed at the RG. Only thing he didn't like was the distance into town. Getting in wasn't the problem. Getting back was. I stayed at the Flipper Lodge and I will stay there again. Nice hotel and the in room massage was ;D ;D. One thing I learned from the my last stay. Don't hook up with bg working at a beer bar on the same street as the hotel. BG has "fighter pilot" vision and short temper when you go past with your new honey. No matter where you stay Pattaya is the best adult playground on the planet.

I'm going to bring my 14 y/o daughter to Phuket next april. That means dad has to set the example, no drinking, smoking or bg. What hotel/resort in the 2000-2500baht range would you suggust? ;D ;D ;D

DonLuciano, I plan $125.USD per day. This covers room, food, drinks and barfine and the cost of girl. I usally have money left over. room= 700baht food= 1000baht or less drink= 1300baht includeds lady drinks barfine= 200baht or 400 lady= 1000baht for L/T

Hope springs eternal in the hotel buss. The closer you get to when you will arrive. The better position your in to deal with the manager. At that point he knows what % of the rooms he will have rented. You are at the very beginning of the busy season. What hotel are you dealing with? ;D ;D ;D

If I ran a bar it would be run like the FLB in Pattaya. This is my third trip to Pattaya and the first time I stopped in. What a no hassle class act. The girls are friendly but not pushy. The live band is good and not to loud. So far I've started off my nights at the FLB and after stopping in a few other places I now finish my nights at the bar. Today is my last night in Pattaya, seeya at the FLB and no I don't get free beers for this missive. ;D ;D ;D

I'm in Pattaya now. The night life is GREAT. Lots and lots of girls and not many customers. ;D ;D ;D

When I was shopping Panpip Plaza in April. Their was no X-Box games. Lots of Playstation 2 games and GameBoy Advance games for sale.

I bought DVD At Pantip Plaza and they didn't work in my Toshiba or Pioneer player. They would only work on my computer DVD player that was a few years old. New computer DVD player no go. I lve in th US so you might run into same problem. DVD cover says it's all region. Image quality is low. Price is cheap. BigDUSA
