Yeah I am not a Bangkok pers on due the above reasons, but hey to each their own, but I will repeat to the new guy stay away from beach road after 10 PM just read the Pattaya One paper from last night, and walking street after 1 AM , well I arrived in Pattaya May 4th checked in my hotel on Walking Street at 4 AM walked down the street to Soi Diamond to have my first beer..some drunk who I tried to ignore suckered punched me in the jaw, being a former boxer I jusT laughed it off and advised the dummy to go home...

Stay away from Beach Road after 10 PM because of aggressive lady boys and thugs, watch out for pick pockets on the bart bus and walking street at night do not start ringing the bell for ladies drinks like I do,lol..the ice in your mixed drink give you the shits. Suggest you make friends with the mamasan ASAP in the Ago go bars. Have A good time stay away from fights.

Thanks for the reply, I have been doing research and there ave been different answers to the above subject the past few months, which is why even a seasoned LOS visiter like myself became confused, my ship just left Kuwait and on the back to the MED before returning to the US. Good day to all, I will be getting paid off my US Ready Reserve ship around 11/5/2017 and returning to LOS for 30 days. Are there any new visa on arrival rules I should be concerned with?
