I am staying in the Metro Appartment at the moment and I must say this is one of the best Rooms i ever have stayed in. 700 Baht each night, cleaning like a 5 star hotel . What do you whant more ? Yes everyone of you have stayed in a better room cheaper and....... no solly solly stories, dennis is there to clear it ! AND I did not know Dennis before, I am am not one of his friends. Are you sure it was a pure punk rock ad ? Lek Bar Soi 7 (I think it was) had an Ska/ Two Tone/ Clash/ Cramps/ REM (funny mixture of music) ad earlier this year.

I like the area around Soi Buakhao, Soi Metro to, but i do not think it is important in which area you stay in as a first timer, since it will take you two days to find out how to come where. Soi 7 or 8 would have been "To much" for the first time for me and even now it is to much "hello sexy man".

Anyone knows a place selling UMDs for the PSP in Pattaya. Last time I saw them the price was about 50 € and that is double the price as in Europe.
