I am leaving from New York(JFK). I have all of Sept off. Is that a good time to go?When I checked on line the prices were in the $600 range for BKK-MNL. Where do you find the cheaper tickets? When in Bangkok who do you buy the tickets from?

I am planning a side trip to Manila. Is it cheaper to buy a RT ticket from Bangkok to Manila while I am in Bankok or should I buy it on line before I go?

I am a newbe and I would like to know what is the best hotel in Bangkok and Pattaya for two guest? I read a post recently and the Nana Hotel which I thought was the friendliest of all hotels would not let someone bring in two guest.
