Hi guys, I'm planning on returning to LOS in a couple of weeks (arrive BKK on Sept. 24) and in my neverending search for just-the-right combination of good price/nice room am considering staying at the Globetrotter Hotel. Here's the website www.globetrotter-thai.50megs.com/ The rooms look decent, especially the big room, and I've been quoted the discount price of 465 baht a night. The location is excellent as it's located on a side alley just off Soi 7. In the past I've stayed at a number of more expensive places such as The Residence Gardens, Flipper House, Areca Lodge and Caesars Palace. I thought that I might try one of the guesthouses this trip and considered the Pig & Whistle and the Queen Vic. Anybody ever stay at the Globetrotter or know anyone who has? Any thoughts? Worst case scenario is that I end up staying there for just one night and then move on. thanks for your help Big Buddha
