The Dehler 39 I sail on has utilized Rolly Tasker sails for one season and they held up fine, both a main sail and a jib. The second season after being exposed to the sun too much they started coming apart. They were well worth the money we paid for them overall. More expensive sails also last us about 1 1/2 seasons with the amount of sailing we do. Hope this helps. No comment on your chartering question, I don't know Gulf Charters.
