The car service rocked. Jan was at the airport on time and had beer waiting for me in the car. She was also there on time to take me back to the airport, with more beer in the back. I would definitely use the service again.

I got to Sailor Inn at 3am, the morning of the 9th, as I told them when I reserved. There was nobody there that spoke any English. I told them that I had room 5 reserved. The people told me that somebody else was already there, in broken English. I was pissed. Fortunately, I had the foresight to reserve 2 places, just in case a situation like this happened. Got to the other place just fine.

My flight is only about 5- 6 hours. Got plenty of time to get cleaned up before, and some cheap aftershave (the alcoholic shower) for the plane. Thanks for all the replies. It's been really helpful.

Thanks a lot for the prompt responses. As far as the shower is concerned, cologne and aftershave usually do the trick. I'm on a limited time schedule.

Hello. I am coming to Thailand on Tuesday, I think my flight arrives after midnight. I want to go to Pattaya upon arrival. Will there be a problem getting a taxi that late? Also, are any bars open around 2 am or later? One more thing, does anybody know about Sailor Inn on soi 9? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
