Hi all, First of, great job Pete!!! I must thank all of you who have been so forthcoming and helpful in providing your thoughts and insight on accomodations, in specific, and general living and partying in Pattaya, in general. I have been a member of this site for a while now, although a very quiet one sitting back and lurking. I was only in Pattaya once a couple of years ago, and it was for only 2 days with a tour group which had the days and evenings filled with sleepy tour type events. However, I was lucky enough to sneak away an hit Walking Street to check things out. Needless to say, I was hooked :) I'm thinking I'll head back to Pattaya and this time go about it the right way. That is no tour groups or tight schedules. Instead, I think I'll take a month (Nov. - Dec.) and enjoy the city. Thus, Pete better be prepared for one crazy Canadian to be frequenting his fine establishment. Ok, enough mumble jumble.... on to the issue that brings me to this posting. After combing through the many reviews and comments on the different places to stay, I have short-listed the Residential Gardens, ViewTalay, and Flipperlodge. I've read a lot about RG and FL on the boards, but not much on ViewTalay. Has anyone stayed there and have any comments on whether it is a good choice? Right now, I am leaning towards the Residential Gardens for my 1 month stay this Winter. The other two options seem to be less expensive, however, is it a situation of you get what you pay for?
