Hello im part of the new team that has taken over the jolly frair -lonestar and le kathai (now called the Devonshire) we took over at the start of june .. when which 6 of the staff from lonestar ..cooking and service left (due to the fact they had been stealing from the last owner and now could not get away with it as we are always on site ...) so i.m happy its low season as we are tring to get all the new staff trained up for high season.. luckly the main chef formally from bobs BBQ stayed on to train the new staff ect... we seem to have been getting things right for the last few weeks and i will invite any one to now try our new and improved lonestar restaurant .. we have a 400.000 bart smoker for the best taste in our Ribs it slow cooks them to perfection .any Helpful comments, ideas are allways greatfully recieved as we are trying to build a Great tex-mex restaurant thanks Tim

yes as from 14th sept u can add a thai account

goto bangkok bank u get a visa debit card there with just yea passport i did in january cost 300 bart :)

not sure if any of u know but from 14th sept u can add a thai bank account to paypal and with draw money stright into it!!! before this date u had to have a uk or us account !!!! handy if u just want to set up a payapl account for your mrs and send money from uk or us stright into her account or get flooding the markets with all the cheap shite around thailand ether way its a great new advance for the thai people (when they realise ) what do u think? can a person from uk work on ebay in thailand ?? strange queston i know but not sure how it works with the thai laws ?? keep it real guys back in nov for my 6 months stint (uk is to cold in winter )

no sorry no pool room gets cleaned every 4-5 days staff are very friendly ......tv has all channels exept espn sports which means i have to goto the bar to watch football or soccer as u lads from across the pond call it

have tryed the temples on soi 6 highly rec + all the lads i know round here refer to it a coronation st so there ladys dont know what they mean :)

my girlfriend stays at the cherry lodge no air con for 3k a month !!!! just dont get the room where the farang died last week he over dosed on viagra i,m staying a a place called chonlanan apartment just off 2nd rd a 10 bart bus ride away near pattaya bowl on corner cost is 13k a month 5k deposit the place is 4 months old and every thing is brand new tv fridge a/c safe in room ect if u want pics u can email me at burdis@gmail.com .....its the best place i have seen for this money + for 1k a month u get asdl in your room ......which i,m on now with my laptop !!
