I stayed in the Yensabai apartments 3 years ago, i was in them for 3 months. A very good deal i was paying around 6,000bht a month + electric which worked out at about 600 a month. As for guest friendly i stayed there with a Thai girl and also on more than one occassion took an additional girl back and never had a problem. I rented from a German guy in the shop on the corner opposite, all rooms had T.V, vid recorder or DVD player + cooking facilities etc. I would reccomend these apartments to anyone staying for over a month. The only downside was sometimes when walking home at night you come a

1,200 baht for taxi from bangkok to pattaya?
Les21 replied to toom's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Very good service, i used on 21st March and efficient and everything as advertised. I would certainly use again. -
I have just got back from my holiday and went to sabailand massage with my wife. Price was 800baht for the lady and 1400 for me, gave us both a nice soapy massage and then asked if we wanted boom boom. In the end the wife had boom boom and i watched, with hindsight i should have paid the 800 for the wife and just given a few hundred for me to be present, anyway it was a nice experience and enjoyable. If you go in a few beer bars and play games with the girls one will normally get friendly with the wife and ask if you want to take her out. Good luck and enjoy.

I have had many tattoos done in pattaya and have just got back from my tenth trip. I had 3 done this time. In the past i have used soi 7 and soi 8, found both okay. walking street just up from Stoneys bar was very good as he done a cover up job and it hardly bled. My favorite though is Mong which is just up past the bamboo bar on the other side of the road, he has done my legs and a lot of other work on me, does not play heavy metal but very friendly and cares about his work. He has a picture of one of my tattoos (an old type galleon sea ship) on the wall. Go and have a look at his work and if

I am flying to BKK on Friday and in earlier posts i had read that direct flights were having to make fuel stops enroute because of the shortage at Heathrow. Has this now been resolved?

Suit from the Beachroad tailors ?
Les21 replied to lovenokia's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I had 2 suits made from a tailors in Walking Street, cannot remember the name but it was on the same side as stoneys bar about 4 shops further on towards toneys. Suits were well made, I cannot remember exactly how much i paid but i think it was around £80 for 2 suits and 5 shirts. They do hit you with extras when you order :- type of buttons and lining etc. But if you do not want this then say no and the price should be as advertised. I still have both suits now, i think it was around 4 to 5 years ago i had them made. -
I got B.A for £926 for me and the missus, not the cheapest but i like B.A. If you go on there website type in the departure date and it offers £220 for outbound, when you type the return it is £360. You have to keep changing the return date until you get a £220. I had to break the news to my missus that we cannot stay for 14 days holiday, we are now staying for 17 days.

I am amazed you found flights for the price you mentioned, must be indirect. The first time i went i flew Lufthansa and had a stopover and plane change at Frankfurt, on the way back we got stuck at Frankfurt for 7 hours dur to fog. I always fly direct now and have found Thai Airways- Eva Air and B.A all about the same, all do free drink and food. I normally book whichever of the 3 is doing the best deal at the time. I have just booked B.A for March for £440 return. I have found that the air hostesses on B.A fill you full of drink on the first part of the flight knowing you will fall asleep an

1,200 baht for taxi from bangkok to pattaya?
Les21 replied to toom's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Sounds a very fair price including the tolls, i will give him a try in march. I have used the BKK dynasty bus amd would not recommend it. The journey took nearly 3 hours. In the end i jumped off on Beach road while they were doing a drop off for others and walked the remainder to my destination. -
It is called the A1 Royal Cruise and is at Soi 2. I have never stayed there before but as i am taking my wife for the first time so i have decided to give it a try. It has cost me £430 GB pounds for 15 nights. Reviews say it is not guest friendly and they charge 500 baht. There is a cheaper hotel between Soi 1 and 2 (about 50mts from the A1) on the beach that is lady friendly and nearly all the hotels around soi 7 and 8 are also guest friendly, all these hotels are around the 600baht mark. I have stayed in a lot of these over the years but have found them to be a bit run down. At the end of t

I have not had this happen, but once lost my wallet at Bangkok Airport (in the departure lounge) By the time i got to England both my Credit and Debit accounts were empty. I only realised that they were missing when i had landed, i rang the banks and explained my situation. I had to get a crime number, ehich was not easy as it happened in Thailand and i was now in England. Anyway the good news was ALL the money was reimbursed in 3 days from the banks.
