  1. I'd known for some time that the web site for my flavor of Blue Cross insurance said Bangkok Hospital Pattaya could bill them directly for in-patient care. The BHP site said the same thing. This week, the wheel of life turned another couple of notches and I can confirm that it is true. BHP can and does bill Blue Cross directly for in-patient care. Even had a nurse who worked for Blue Cross call to see how I was doing and whether I had any questions she could answer. I have a BHP number so I don't take my passport when I go there.
