Residence gardens and rate hike?

Do any members know about the peak season surcharge?

 

I called to book a room at the residence gardens and was told the rate is NOT 1,350 for FLB members but 1,700 from dec 20.......

 

Anybody know about this?

 

I thought the rates of 1,350 were available all year to FLB members.....

I just stayed there at 1350B/day, but then again this is low season... I dunno this might be one for Pete to investigate, hash out, etc. Also make SURE you try your booking through the direct link from this website... I was not allowed the FLB rate on walk-up last week... I had to fill out the form and make the reservation that way in order to get the rate.

The deal as I understand it does not mention a higer rate for high season, but it doesn't rule that out specifically either.

I would charge more in high season because it is always full. Most hotels in Thailand on the net have a low and high season tarriff.

I have heard about the peak season surcharge and I too have booked for 5 nights mid December'04...and was advised promptly by Ib that there was a surcharge which I have happily accepted...Lets face it, why should Pattaya be different to any other country in the world
