Had a look and the place is nice, walk-in rate is only B850 / night.

 

Pros

Decor in room is 4-star, very nice pool, VERY cute girl working in cafe, walking distance to Big-C.

 

Cons

Internet connection in cafe is not working, coffee is REALLY bad, it wren't for the cutey I would've spat out the first mouthful, never mind choke down the whole (large) cup.

 

Location is 50m down Soi 2(?) South Pattaya Rd which is directly opposite the Big-C signboard. It is ~300m fr the Sukhumvit Rd junction (opp Tony's disco). Transport not a problem, frequent baht buses along South Pattaya Rd.

 

For your budget you can also try:

- Bella Villa (bellavillapattaya.com / 6638-415750) B1050 Soi 4 Beach Rd

- Mike Orchid Resort (6638-362192 / ) B1600 Soi 4 Beach Rd

- LK Metropole (6638-428100 / lk_rsvn@yahoo.com) B1500, same Soi as Areca Lodge (Soi 13 Second Rd?)

I viewed the rooms at these places but did not stay there, was thinking of moving to some place with a swimming pool but eventually didn't bother.
