Business class is ok. Economy tends to be colourful and crowded. Don't think you should have a problem getting a beer

Real mixed bag in those reports Eric.

 

Reading between the lines it seems like those in first or biz class are treated like gods, the rest little more than cargo. That's India!

Air India operate the same policy as the Indian Railway. They are always overbooked so you have to hang on to the side of the aeroplane for the whole trip! Might blow the bark off your tree!
