Not a bad place, stayed there for a few days in March. Probably a bit pricey for what you get but the location is great. Ask for the top floor facing Walking st and you get a sea view over the top of the 7-11 opposite. Be aware though that what they term suites are just marginally larger rooms.

Place is ok - Some times you have to fight off the bugs - The walls are paper thin, but the location you cannot beat. I is a bit on the pricy side for what you are getting. - I would use this place strictly as a ST-Room only. No problems with unwanted guests dropping by unannounced.

I have stayed at both SS and Delamer and location aside prefer Sandy Spring. If you include location then i would still go for SS as it is away from the action but yet only a short baht bus ride to Walking Street or Soi7/8 going the other way and thats how i like it.

I've just spent two weeks there.

I took a room with a balcony at 6000 per week (857 per night) as it is a double room, the price also includes two cooked breakfasts per day. Only problem is, breakfast finishes at 11am. :beer

I liked the place very much; Large firm bed, tea & coffee making facilities, good TV with plenty of international stations, nice large bath towels which had been laundered with fabric conditioner, clean sheets & pillow cases daily, good A/C, large shower room however, no bath.

The rooms right at the back of the establishment are out of ear shot of any Walking Street noise.

Most importantly, there is absolutely no problem taking guests back to your room (with or without ID card) :clap1

Currently the only way to make a reservation is by Phone/Fax as their email & internet reservation service is never checked! I asked about this and the staff said the boss in Bangkok is aware of the problem. :nod
