Has anyone stayed at the Best beach Villa Hotel? I only saw one review regarding this new Hotel. The pictures and location looks good. And its seem more convenient than the Residence Garden Hotel recommended by this forum. Besides rating this hotel, can you tell my if the rooms have security safes and does the hotel charge joiner fees, especially if I want to take 2 girls?

I will return to Pattaya this August (about 2 weeks from now) :sorry

Thanks for your help.

I stayed there for 2-1/2 weeks last Nov. and thought it was very good. New hotel, clean, everything worked, good breakfeast, etc.

There is a safe in the room.

There is no joiner fee, I did bring back 2 girls once or twice.

Only negative was that the pool was a little small with no sun 'till noon.

The Delux rooms are the same as the Standard rooms but face towards the bay with a decent view, while the Standard rooms view is of an apartment building 20-30 meters away.

The location is kind of quiet. if you like to walk a few blocks (which I do) it is very good as it's within walking distance to both Soy 2 (with the nig C, bars, soapies) and soy 6.

Thank you very much for your reply. This sounds like a great hotel. I love the soapies. Big C is good for food and I've picked up u a few free lancers from there. Also I plan on getting my share of ST BJs on Soi 6. :D So this hotel sounds like its at a great location; and should be very convenient for catching baht buses.

They just offered me their low season standard room rate of 1,260 baht that includes a free American breakfast. However, they stated that their safes are behind the desk lobby, and did in the rooms. Maybe that was a new clerk who replied to my email, or the standard rooms don't have them. Based on your review, I will tell them that I want a room with a safe. Perhaps I might upgrade to a delux room for a better view.

Exwannabee, again I really appreciate your reply. Thanks for the good information. :hairout

There is construction going on in soi4 right behind this hotel and lots of noise. Although never stayed here it does look good for the price

Thanks Neil 324. I will request an upgrade and stay on the beachfront side.

Mr. E

The delux side faces towards the bay, it isn't on beach road. What I mean by this is I don't know where the construction is relative to the rooms. The poster said the construction was on 4th (behind the hotel) so try and get a room towards the front (soy 5, which is fairly quite).

There was no noise problem when I was there, but things change VERY fast in Pattaya.

You just missed it m8 was there dec until end of jan, stayed in the bella villa pool side and there is grinders banging the lot all day until about 8 pm. Not sure how far they have progressed but they was still adding floors and pouring concrete then so doubt its finished.

The construction is opposite of mikes beach villa and at the back of best beach

Gentlemen,

I hope that they finished most of the construction...or at least the drilling and pounding. I just paid my 50% deposit for 12 nights, which was strange because I've never had a hotel to require a 50% deposit. Perhaps they make people pay up front due to the construction noise.

Well I will definate post a hotel review once my stay is completed. Again, thanks for the information. I truly appreciate your replies.

The hotel being built directly behind Best Beach is nearly completed, however right next to the new hotel and Pattaya International Hospital another project is under construction. It has topped out so the noise level should be less. Where you could get some big noise is on Soi 5 between Nothshore and Best Beach. They have completely cleared out that area so maybe another Northshore tower or another hotel.

I posted a similar question on the board some months ago. I stayed in a junior two room suite with a fantastic view of the sea from twin balconies. Guest friendly but not an out and out mongering hotel. If you're planning to take back 3 different girls every day then stick to the flippers. Good buffet breakfast for two included in the price. When i was there this spring there were a mixture of western and asian guests.

If you stay in Best beach you will probably not want to set foot in sabai lodge ever again

Neil,

Thanks for the fantastic endorsement and conformation. I really feel comfortable now about my decision to stay there and will likely upgrade my room upon my arrival in 2 weeks.

Hopefully I can meet you and the other guys who responded someday, and I will buy you a beer.

Thanks again!!!

  • 8 months later...

Hi,

I am wondering if there is any new insight on the Best Beach Villa hotel. I am planning to stay in Pattaya for one month, starting the end of April. The Beat Beach Hotel and Bella Villa Prima have quoted me the same rate for a stay in their standard rooms. Could anyone offer advice as to which to go with, and if there is any construction going on next to either of them?

Many thanks!

Stayed there last October and it is nice except eh beds are extremely hard, so for me I won't be back since that is not for me. Everything else about the hotel was nice though. Stayed next door at the Golden roof and enjoyed that- no pool though. No major noises in the area as ofmid January but that could have changed.
